Tera's Favorite Books

I get asked about various nutrition and wellness books all the time. Of course, I can’t read them all - it feels like there’s a new one published every day! When someone recommends or asks about a particular book, my process usually goes something like this:

  1. Find a podcast where the author was interviewed. They’re usually promoting the book, so this gives me a good summary of what to expect. If I’m intrigued by the interview, I’ll go to step two.

  2. Check out the book at my local library. This way I can give it a whirl without committing any money. If it’s not interesting or doesn’t seem legitimate, I don’t have to feel bad stopping before I’m done with the whole thing. But if it knocks my socks off…

  3. I buy it! This is high praise from me, as I don’t love spending money on books, or finding the space to store them. Usually I see if I can get a used copy on Amazon first, but sometimes I’ll splurge for a shiny new copy!

Below are some of my favorites, many of which made it all the way to the coveted step three!
